Polyvinylidene fluoride / PVDF sheets - Carbon-filled CN-F
have high elasticity, and resistance to abrasion, wear, and eruption. Resistant to ultraviolet and ionizing radiation (often used in atomic energy) that can not be reached by Teflon. Chemical resistance and operating temperatures exceed the exact resistance of the polyolefins (polyethylene, polypropylene) and PVC (Vinyl).
PVDF is poorly soluble or generally insoluble in many organic solvents, dimethylformamide, and ketones. It has a lower density than PTFE, but a higher density than other high-temperature plastics. PVDF-purpose is construction material for the manufacture of products, operating up to + 150 ° C in a hostile environment or radiation.

PVDF carbon-filled sheets are also recommended for use in the combination of the following conditions:
- operation under the influence of high-energy radiation (radiation), as well as
- requirements for hydrolysis resistance,
- good mechanical properties, but the operating temperature does not exceed + 150 ° C.
