Latex Rubber Sheets
Latex rubber sheets are made of the purest form of rubber. It has a smooth surface on both sides, high tensile strength, and elasticity. Latex rubber is available in the classes food-safe later rubber, antistatic latex rubber, and high-temperature latex. It is commonly used for printed films, membranes, seals, and vacuum blankets.
Latex rubber sheeting is made of natural rubber latex harvested from a special type of trees that do not have to be cut down for the manufacturing process. This makes latex rubber sheeting a renewable resource that is biodegradable as well.
Compared to calendered rubber sheeting, latex rubber sheeting has great physical properties and is used where tensile strength, elongation and/or tear resistance are needed. Some of the advantages of latex rubber sheets include:
High tensile strength
High elongation
Excellent tear resistance
Excellent flexibility
Excellent recovery
