Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders

Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders

This type of Cylindrical fenders are often mounted at the central point - on bow and stern of push drive tugboats and workboats.

In tandem with Keyhole, M or W-shape rubber fenders, these Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders are often used for any marine applications.

We produce this sort of fenders  by winding up to a diameter of 1000 mm. If needed, beveled or tapered ends can be provided to achieve an improved connection to the ship surface and additional grooves with chains or nylon straps for additional attachment.

Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders usually can be manufactured by extrusion with a diameter up to 500 mm and are attached to a vessel by a chain which goes  through their round chamber.

Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders with a larger diameter are manufactured with additional grooves in the circumference of the fender for additional mounting possibilities with the help of nylon straps or cables

Depending on the diameter of the Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders the unit length can go up to 10 metres. Connection plugs can be installed on the rubber fenders to achieve longer lengths. Almost every of our cylindrical bow & stern fenders can be customised according to your specific requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

What are the key benefits of using Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders in marine applications?

The key benefits of using Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders include their ability to absorb impact effectively, reducing damage to both the vessel and the docking structure. They are designed to handle high energy impacts, making them suitable for push drive tugboats and workboats. Additionally, their cylindrical shape allows for easy mounting and alignment, ensuring consistent performance across various marine applications.

How do Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders compare to other fender types?

Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders differ from other fender types, such as Keyhole, M or W-shape fenders, in terms of design and application. While other fenders may provide additional features for specific docking scenarios, cylindrical fenders are versatile, providing a uniform surface for impact absorption. They are particularly effective when mounted at the bow and stern of vessels, allowing for balanced protection from collisions.

What is the maximum diameter that GTEEK can manufacture for Cylindrical Bow Rubber Fenders?
