Stainless loose flanges EN1092-1, PN16

A stainless loose flange, called as well "Lap Joint Flange" (LJ flange / Loose flange) is a two-piece flange similar to the weld-neck flange, but like a loose slip-on flange as well.

The first side is called a 'Stub-end' strap formed like a short piece of tube with a weld bevel on one end and a tight strap on the other end called a hub.

The hub is of the same external diameter as the a weld neck flange's raised face (gasket contact surface).

The hub thickness of the stainless loose flange is usually approximately 1⁄4 "to 3/8′′. The hub's back face has a rounded part (or filet inside) that connects the hub to the strap.

PN16 Loose flanges are used for low pressures and not so critical applications. They glide straight across the pipe and are most frequently used with fittings on the stub end.

FAQ

What materials are used for stainless loose flanges?
Stainless loose flanges are typically made from stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance and durability.
What is the pressure rating for these flanges?
The stainless loose flanges EN1092-1 are rated for PN16 pressure applications.
How are stainless loose flanges installed?
Stainless loose flanges are installed by welding the stub-end to the pipe and then sliding the flange over the pipe for a secure fit.
Expert Advice: Ensure proper alignment and fit during installation to prevent leaks and ensure optimal performance in your piping system.

Stainless loose flanges Reduced Thickness EN1092-1, PN10

Stainless reduced thickness loose flanges Reduced thickness stainless loose flanges are a cost-effective solution for systems where standard pressure ratings are not fully required. They maintain the standard bolt pattern (PN10/16) for compatibility but feature a thinner plate thickness to reduce weight and material costs. These flanges are designed to slide over the pipe and are used in combination with a stub end or a collar. Optimized for high-performance stainl..
