PETG sheets

(thermoplastic copolymer polyester) - lightweight transparent plastic, flexible enough, easy to stretch, used for thermoforming and cold forming. Especially PETG sheets have excellent impact strength, including at low temperatures (down to -40 ° C), as well as good resistance to chemicals. One of the advantages is PETG sheets are the wide operating temperature range -40 ° C + 65 ° C.

PETG sheets are perfectly amenable to mechanical processing, good for stamping, and can be connected by welding (welding rods from special PETG are used), or gluing. PETG sheets light transmission can be up to 90%, making it an excellent and cost-effective replacement of Plexiglas, especially in means of manufacturing products that require molding, welding connections, or a lot of machining.

Applications of PETG sheets:

  • Architecture, design and construction (transparent partitions, protective transparent structure, glazing, transparent roofing, etc.).
  • Engineering (housing, sight glasses, etc.)
  • Electrical and Power Engineering (transparent electric insulating parts, lamps parts)
  • Construction of chemical tanks and apparatus (transparent chemically resistant parts, sight glasses, vessels, observation filter housing, bathrooms, etc.) Laboratory design (protection glazing, kitchen utensils)
  • Exhibit design (original solutions of virtually any form, including curved even at acute angles)
  • Advertising and showcases design (transparent pockets, advertising signs, protection glazing windows and shop equipment, and others.)
