The silicone cord can be used for exposed channels or grooves on machined Parts. The VMQ cord can also be used to plug threaded and non-threaded holes. These silicone cords can be supplied in coil form, cut to length or joined into O-Rings with silicone adhesive.

We can cut to size the silicone cord and color code it for easy identification. Our solid silicone cord product line is a great solution for sealing off exposed semi-circular cut-outs on machined parts. It can also be used to plug threaded and non-threaded holes. Versatile and easy to cut to length, solid silicone cord is a great product to have for short runs.

We also stock a metal detectable grade cord, which comes in blue as standard. All solid silicone cords are compliant to FDA 177.2600 and EC 1935/2004 standards and can be used safely with foods.

Made to tight tolerances, silicone cords are specified all over the world for a multitude of sealing applications. All VMQ silicone cords are FDA, Bfr, WRAS, KTW approved
