Stainless flanges ANSI/ASME

Germany and several other countries in the European Union mainly install flanges according to standard DIN EN 1092-1 (forged or cast Stainless Steel Flanges).

Similar to the ASME flange standard, the EN 1092-1 standard has the basic flange forms, such as weld neck flange, blind flange, lapped flange, threaded Flange.

The standard of ASME/ANSI B16.5 covers stainless weld neck flange, threaded / screwed flange, slip on flange, socket weld flange, lap joint flange, blind flange for sizes up to 24" diameter, in rating classes of 150, 300, 400, 600, 900, 1500 and 2500.

As for ASME/ANSI B16.47 Series A (MSS SP-44) and ASME/ANSI B16.47 Series B (API 605) for weld neck flange & blind flange, the size range is 26" through to 60" diameter. In series A, our class ratings are for 150lbs, 300lbs, 400lbs, 600lbs and 900lbs.

In series B, our class ratings are for 75lbs, 150lbs, 300lbs, 400lbs, 600lbs and 900lbs.  Our ASME/ANSI B16.36 Orifice Flanges including weld neck, slip on, threaded (screwed) type, covers sizes from 1" to 24" in rating classes of 300lbs, 400lbs, 600lbs, 900lbs, 1500lbs and 2500lbs

Welding neck stainless steel flanges ANSI / 150lbs These ANSI / 150lbs welding neck stainless flanges are attached by welding the pipe to the neck of the flange. This transfers stress from the flange to the pipe instead. It also reduces the stress concentration from the base of the hub.
