Silicone coated Glass Fabric - GTK201500B - 2.0 mm - 1500g per m2 - double coated

The high-temperature silicone coated glass fabric is made of continuous glass fabric covered on both sides with specially formulated high-temperature silicone rubber. This 2 mm thick silicone coated fabric is offered in versions with a coating of 1200, 1500 and 1800 g/m2. It's suitable for medium to heavy-duty applications.

Silicone has excellent resistance to weathering and aging and has a high resistance to ozone and UV light. It is also waterproof and resistant to water vapor. 

The high-temperature silicone-coated glass cloth is non-halogen and slows down the combustion. Silicone can be added to different weights of the coating and applied to all weights and styles of E Glass fabrics. Silicone-coated glass fabric is designed for continuous temperatures of 300°C and 350°C for a short trigger. The Base E Glass fabric is rated up to 550 ° C (unpainted).

Heavy-duty silicone coated glass fabric

Heavy Duty is an extreme-duty silicone coated glass fabric often manufactured in belts, stripes or other ways to shield hoses, cables and machinery from extreme industrial conditions. The heaviest heat control fabric available and best suitable for heavy-duty molten splash and slag applications.

Medium-duty silicone coated glass fabric

Medium Duty providing a one-sided coating on a textured fabric, which is an outstanding welding splatter safety and a soft melted metal splash; also including a two-sided coating on a filament fabric which is quite versatile. Good welding splatter protection and used as cold side shielding on insulation blanket systems for engine and generator exhaust.

Light-duty silicone coated glass fabric

Light Duty includes one-sided and both-sided silicone coated glass fabrics which are used as high-temperature curtains and barriers, welding slats and heat resistant sleeves and jackets, rain or spray-down/wash-down resistant high-temperature cloth for making waterproof caps, sleeves, jackets.
