Structure:

Tubes constructed from the Phenolic Cotton Cloth consist of cotton-fabric-lengths impregnated with phenolic resin. These are winded in tandem on winding machines where under the influence of temperature and friction the resin gathers the lengths together.

This classification of Phenolic Cotton Cloth Round Tubes is made of a regular, impregnated cotton woven fabric with a phenolic resin binder. The offered phenolic pipes include a fine linen woven and is known for its mechanical properties, like the phenolic canvas.

The finer weave allows more complex features to be machined than grade cloth, such as gear teeth, etc. As primary electrical insulation, such grades are not recommended, but grade LE shows superior moisture tolerance to grades L, C and CE, and is thus an effective insulator for a reasonable range of applications.
