Edge Trims
Rubber Edge Trim profiles are a highly flexible trim made of thick rubber and is used for edging applications. It contains a metal insert which clips to a panel's edge or radius and offers outstanding wear and ozone tolerance that suits most applications.
Rubber Edge Trim profiles resist corrosion and can withstand extreme temperatures. The regular edge trim profiles retain stability at low temperatures, offer relatively high level of electrical insulation and show superior UV resistance.
Edge trim profiles also resist water and steam while providing good alkali, acid and solvent resistance.

For mass transit applications such as buses, subways and trains, fire-rated EPDM edge trim profiles are just necessary. Nevertheless, there is not only one standard for fire, smoke, and toxicity (FST), so engineers should carefully select compounds.
Also the regular edge trim rubber profiles are used in digital enclosures in order to create fire-resistant trim seal.
