Our NBR X-rings are available in AS568 and metric dimensionsThe NBR X-rings or also known as NBR Quad rings offer optimized sealing effect owing to the higher pressure distribution over the nearly square cross-section.
These X-profile X-rings, have four contact points in dynamic applications, which guarantee a stronger seal than round-profile O-rings. To create a seal, they also need less compression, so they give longer service life. These NBR X-rings are produced of resilient, tear-resistant Buna-N rubber or NBR.
Typically NBR X-rings are used in water solutions, propane, butane, petroleum gas, mineral oil, grease, diesel fuel, mineral oils / grasses, diluted oils, alkali and salt.
