The white silicone cord has good resistance to water (up to 100 °C), aliphatic engine and transmission oils, animal and plant oils and fats. Our material is applicable for food contact; reference tests according to FDA (21 CFR § 177.2600) and LFGB recommendation XV (EC 1935/2004). White silicone cord / VMQ is generally not resistant to fuels, aromatic mineral oils, steam (short term up to 120 °C possible), silicone oils and greases, acids and alkaline compounds.

The white silicone cords can be manufactured in any size from 1.0mm DIA up to 50.0mm DIA, with no special tooling necessary. These silicone cords with white color are made of suitable VMQ compounds together with tolerance accuracy and precise white structure for high and low temperature requirements. The extruded silicone cords of this type can be manufactured in a range among 20° to 90° shore A, and as a standard they come in Shore 60°.
