FKM / Viton gaskets
Viton® rubber gaskets are resistant to alkalis, animal and vegetable oils, chlorinated hydrocarbons, fuels and concentrated acids. They also have excellent resistance to high temperatures. However, Viton® rubber gaskets are not suitable for ketones such as acetone and organic acids.
This gasket material has outstanding thermal stability, and is highly resistant to hydrocarbons, additives, oil and oils. The Viton / FKM also offers excellent weathering, oxidation and ozone resistance but should not be used with organic acids or ketones such as acetone.
Due to their performance in challenging sealing applications, FKM rubber gaskets are cut from a synthetic fluoroelastomer and are primarily used in the automotive, aerospace, and petrochemical industries.
Viton® gaskets also known as FKM gaskets, are produced from a high quality rubber material made from Viton. Viton rubber gaskets are extremely durable and are well suited to put up with the rigors of caustic environments and fluid exchange devices. Viton rubber gaskets extends the thermal resistance of most mid-performance elastomers.

FKM / Viton commercial grade Fluoroelastomer Sheet
FKM / Viton commercial grade Fluoroelastomer Sheet The selection of the most suitable Viton rubber sheet to be used for any specific end-use implementation shall be determined by the end-use provider and, in specific, whether the detail of it must provide: acid resistance or base resistance to hydrocarbon liquids, flexibility at high temperature (holding seal at low temperature). Viton FKM sheets can handle high temperatures in aggressive fluids, ensuring reliability ..
VITON™ Rubber Sheeting - Grade A
VITON™ Rubber Sheeting - Grade A There are some intrinsic variations between the different groups of Viton fluoroelastomers in terms of pressure set strength, low heat flexibility and resistance to certain groups of liquids. Depending on their comparative strength to fluid and chemical attack, standard kinds of VitonTM fluoroelastomer products are named as A, B or F. The fluid resistance variations are the consequence of distinct fluorine concentrations in the polymer, ..
VITON™ Rubber Sheeting - Grade B
VITON™ Rubber Sheeting - Grade B Viton rubber sheets of this grade are produced of Premium Viton type B: 68% Fluorine. Viton™ type B is more resistant and maintains more stability after dry heat aging than Viton™ type A. It is suggested for applications needing maximum elastic properties preservation in combination with excellent mechanical characteristics. Viton™ type B provides superior strength to aggressive acids diluted as well as to concentrated acids. ..
