Sponge rubber D-profiles - rounded - with a hole

The extruded rounded rubber D-profiles made of sponge rubber are profile products with low density and made of expanded rubber structure. 
 
Materials:
Sponge rubber D-rofiles are created for the area Lighting (Automotive) and as required on special CARPENTRY (Metallic - Electrical Duct).
 
Density:
The density of the sponge rubber D-profiles could vary. By default it's manufactured in 0.65 g/cm³ density.
 
Applications: 
Open-cell sponge rubber profiles possess an interconnected cell structure which will permit limited absorption and circulation of gases and fluids. Outer surface of the material is continuous (rather than porous) and exhibits good physical durability.
 
Because air can pass freely between its cells, sponge offers a high degree of compressibility and displays fast recovery upon release from compression. Open-cell sponge is absorbent and should not be used where resistance to fluid penetration is required, unless protected with a surface coating. 
 
When your application requires the rubber to withstand atmospheric conditions; ozone, sunlight UV, ageing, moisture, Sponge EPDM Rubber D-profile is most suitable. Often utilized for draft exclusion of windows, doors and floorboards.
 
Sponge rubber D-profiles can be compressed by almost 90% of its original profile. These flexible properties allow this D-profile to be compressed into floorboard and gaps much smaller than its original form by stretching it during the installation process.
