SLX High pressure knife gate valve
Once these valves are activated, their seats form narrow expansion and no metal component of the valve comes in direct contact with the medium. When the valve closes, the seats are axially moved and form an insulation seal around the gate until the full closing occurs.
Made of ductile iron, the SLH and SLX have fully lugged covered valve bodies with embedded purge channels to be used when the valves are fully mounted.
Their distinctive seats are accessible in special EPDM or other rubber material with low friction. These seals are particularly machined, grinded and coated against the friction which the gate made of high-strength stainless steel conducts.
The SLH and SLX valve are accessible on demand from DN 80 to DN 450 (3 "to 18") and bigger dimensions. Further information is available in the product data sheet.
