Rubber expansion joint - EPDM - Red Stripe
The base material for this rubber expansion joint is high quality EPDM.
This bellow is suitable for Drinking water, has an WRAS approval. Except this it is resistant to cold and warm waste water, seawater, cooling water, water with chemical additives, low concentrated acids and alkalis, salt solutions, technical alcohols, esters and ketones. It can handle hot water and cooling water with salt solutions as well.
The EPDM rubber expansion joint of this type is weather-resistant, offers good gas tightness, resistant to attack by oxygen, U.V., ozone and extreme weather environments.
The structure of the EPDM rubber expansion joint is seamless, it has a low permeation liner with PA textile cord mesh inside, Butyl rubberized reinforcement and EPDM, ozone proof, heat resistant cover.
Temperature range -40° C up to +100°C, temporarily up to +120°C. Electrically dissipative.
