PVC-U – Plastic Butterfly Valve - K4 - with Hand Lever
PVC-U butterfly valves show excellent characteristics in the temperature range from 0° to +60°C. Ensuring highest possible thermal stability and chemical resistance PVC-U butterfly valve systems stand up to the most demanding conditions, particularly where media such as acids, alkalis, bases and salts are transported. This universal plastic butterfly solution covers all aspects of safety, efficiency and reliability required to build, maintain and operate industrial piping systems.
PVC-U (Unplasticised polyvinyl chloride) butterfly valves are made of one of the most popular thermoplastic materials used for pressure pipework installations. Light in weight PVC-U has excellent resistance "to chemicals and abrasion, is tasteless and odourless making it ideal for use with "potable water systems and most food products as its extremely smooth bore gives excellent flow characteristics without sediment or deposit.
