PTFE lined Tees

The PTFE lined equal tees and reducing tees have very low permeation rates, substantial wall thicknesses and long service lives.
 
The life of PTFE lined pipeline systems increases due to absence of corrosion. PTFE lining of the equal and reducing tees enhances the working conditions as leakage does not occur and subsequent harmful gases and vapors do not evaporate in the atmosphere. Therefore the cost incurred in maintenance, repairing and time lost can be minimized.
 
The PTFE lined tees resist a wide variety of chemicals making them more flexible and economical. All PTFE lined equal and reducing tees are abrasion and wear resistant while maintaining nonstick and high purity characteristics.
 
PTFE lined T-pieces up to 4" diam. are available with either of two different linings.
  • The PTFE lined variant is supplied with a high performance flange connection of well-proven design (see drawing A).
  • As an alternative, PFA-lined tees are available as shown on drawing B. PFA is a tetrafluorethylene-based copolymer with chemical and thermal properties comparable to those of PTFE. PFA lined variants are also available up to 4" diam. PFA is superior to PTFE in terms of flexibility, particularly when it comes to tubing applications. 

All reducing tees are available with fixed flanges as standard. Loose flanges can also be supplied on request. .. Intermediate sizes and special dimensions are supplied on request. Dimensions meet ANSI B 16.5.
