PTFE 25% Carbon Filled Black Rod
is a high performance, synthetic fluoropolymer with the carbon fibre greatly improving by a notable margin characteristics including electrical properties, deformation strength and wear and abrasion resistance.
Carbon is a brittle material itself, having poor wear properties and mechanical strength. The resulting material after the mixture of PTFE and carbon fibers, however, has excellent mechanical and wear properties. Carbon Filled PTFE formulation offer excellent friction properties and the 25% carbon filled PTFE rods are an excellent choice for seals and rings in dynamic and high pressure applications.
Carbon filled PTFE also offers good thermal conductivity and low permeability, making it a good choice for anti-static applications.
Typical fields of application for PTFE carbon filled rods include aerospace industries, electrical and electronic industries and automotive industries.

PTFE Rods
PTFE rods (Extruded) PTFE rod has excellent resistance to most chemicals and solvents and is capable of operating at high and low temperatures - up to 260°C. The PTFE rods also have a very low coefficient of friction and are commonly used in food contact applications. Rods of PTFE provides good thermal stability and has good electrical properties, but are not suitable for wear application and is difficult to bond. Advantages: Extr..

We can manufacture any combination you may need as per your specific applications. GLASS-FILLED PTFE 25% short glass fibre; 85% virgin PTFE Wear resistant, improved hardness, lower thermal expansion, lower deformation under load CARBON FIBER- FILLED PTFE 5% carbon fiber; 95% PTFE Increased hardn..
PTFE graphite filled rods
PTFE graphite filled rods EXTRUDED PTFE TEFLON GRAPHITE ROD has good thermal conductivity, is Chemically inert, Low friction. Minimum wear to mating surface. Graphite has good chemical resistance to corrosive environments and exhibits good initial wear and rubbing/sliding characteristics in dry and water applications. Commonly blended with carbon and PTFE. The Filled Grade PTFE TEFLON products are widely used as machining stock for all kinds of chemical, electrical and ..
PTFE rods - Ceramic filled
PTFE rods - Ceramic filled Ceramic filled PTFE rods - type BL are made of a distinctive, mechanically stressed Ceramic filled PTFE compound with elastic behaviour and properties. The ceramic filled PTFE has low heat conductivity and chemical inertia of the alloyed metal. It has outstanding tribological friction and wear characteristics compared to the glass filled PTFE, with reduced permeation producing less abrasive wear. Do not use in for food applicatio..
PTFE Glass + Graphite filled rods
PTFE Glass + Graphite filled rods These rods are made of Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) filled with glass / graphite. The mixture of both fillers allows resistance against soft metals a creates a chemically inert alloy with outstanding wear characteristics. At both sides of the temperature scale - both for high and low temperatures, deformation under stress is also decreased. The PTFE Glass and graphite filled rods are an outstanding self-lubricating ..
PTFE bushings - 25% glass filled
PTFE bushings - 25% glass filled Adding glass to PTFE bushings makes it stronger and more durable, as well as reducing flexibility and likelihood of creep. Glass filled PTFE bushings can operate at the same temperature range as virgin PTFE and is similarly chemically inert. Glass has little effect on most of PTFE's electrical or chemical properties. It is resistant to acids and oxidation, but alkali can attack it. Glass in the form of short glass fibers is usually ..
PTFE bushings - 15% Glass + 5% MoS2 Filled
PTFE bushings - 15% Glass + 5% MoS2 Filled This kind of PTFE bushings is filled with 15% Glass and 5% MoS2 Fillers. Often used together with glass or bronze, Molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) as a PTFE filler results in a more slippery and harder material. MoS2 also improves compression and wear resistance. MoS2 as one of the best known dry lubricants can improve surface strength and lower friction and wear rate coefficient, while the glass fibers provide structural stren..
