PTFE sheets with 15% glass (85% virgin ptfe + 15% glass fibres)
Improved compression and wear resistance; excellent chemical stability. Better thermal conductivity and coefficient of friction when combined with Mos2 or Graphite.
It is the most commonly used filler for dynamic seal applications where both rotating and alternating movements are involved, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical parts.
We certify that all our 15% Glass filled molded and extruded semifinished products, made of 15GL, can come in contact with foodstuff, as per the following requirement: USA regulations (FDA, Food and Drug Administration, Department of Health and Human Services; Code of Federal Regulations 21 CFR Ch. 1 § 177.1550 (a) (1) and (b)-Perfluorocarbon Resins.
