PBT / Polybutylene Terephthalate rods

have an opaque off-white color and meets American Society for Testing and Materials ASTM D6261 specifications. PBT (polybutylene terephthalate) is a tough, impact-resistant plastic that is dimensionally stable due to its excellent creep resistance and low moisture absorption and offers excellent resistance to a range of chemicals at room temperature. PBT polyester typically provides higher impact resistance than PET.

Plastic refers to a group of synthetic or semi-synthetic materials that have been engineered to achieve specific properties. The most notable characteristics of PBT rods are low weight, machinability, corrosion resistance, and typically good thermal and electrical insulating properties.

From polybutylene terephthalate are produced parts for electrical purposes: connectors, terminals, connectors, switches, relays body coils, solenoid valves, casing breaker current, high voltage transformers, high-voltage parts of ignition systems.
PBT Rods are used also for housing appliances: hairdryers, electrical, fryers, toasters, irons, vacuum cleaners parts of bodies of engines, handle ovens, electric and gas stoves, computer case details and fixtures.

The electrical parts produced of the rods include:
PBT DVD-ROM, DVD-RAM, camera parts, camera lens rims, body binoculars, etc. Excellent dimensional stability enables to produce PBT gears, including the bicycle.; heating systems valves and pump components, enclosures, cages, gears, bearings, parts of transport vehicles.
Molded polybutylene terephthalate is used for large parts of car bodies, bumpers, wheel trims, exterior door handles of cars, windows drive enclosure, mirror housings, brackets, parts Seat regulators, reflectors of headlights, fuel filter housings, parts for windshield wipers, radiator grille and others.
