Polyamide 6 rods - Metal Detectable
The metal detectable Polyamide 6 rods are a polyamide 6 grade, which contains metal detectable additives, and has been specifically made for use in the food processing and packaging industries.
This particular polyamide modification can be easily detected by the standard metal detection equipment that is normally applied in the quality inspection process in most food industry processing facilities.
The metal detectable properties are identifiable in metal detector scanning equipment. These properties of the metal detectable Polyamide 6 type can easily be applied by using a conventional metal detection system installed to find contamination of the foodstuffs (of course the level of the results may vary depending on the sensitivity of the metal detection system used).
Detection by X-Ray of any particles of the PA6 metal detectable rods is also possible.

Polyamide 6 rods - Metal Detectable have good impact and wear resistance properties and are highly machinable. These Polyamide 6 rods have lower moisture absorption than standard PA6 and good visual detection because of their blue color - which usually is not available in the foods.
