Polyamide PA6 rods

Polyamide 6 / Nylon rods are multifunctional thermoplastic used for structural applications and with good antifriction properties. The PA6 polyamide rods are solid, tough, and durable. Nylon Rods of polyamide PA6 are used to manufacture parts operating at high shock loads or in tribological systems. Polyamide 6 Nylon rods are often used to replace metal parts in mechanical engineering and manufacturing. Polyamide 6 rods can stand from -40°C  to +100°C

Polyamide 6 has a low friction level with any metals, can be machined easy and fast (depending on the modification)  and the rods of PA6 is lighter than bronze and steel. Products made of Nylon / Polyamide 6 rods wear 2 times slower, increasing the service life of products by 1.5 times, and reducing the complexity of manufacturing.

Polyamide 6 / Nylon Materials can be heated and UV stabilized. Most Polyamide 6 rods grades are available in black color, some of them in a natural or grey color as well. Tailor-made compounds can be developed to meet application requirements and offer price benefits to the customer.

Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods

Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods

Polyamide 6 MOS2 rods  The addition of molybdenum sulfide (MoS2) to PA6 results in an increase of rigidity, hardness and dimensional stability due to its nucleating effect. Conversely, the material's impact strength is reduced as a result. The additive also lends the material improved sliding friction properties. PA6+Mos2 rods are made of a cast nylon material which using the filler of MoS2 results in an improvement in the degree of crystallinity..

Polyamide 66 rods

Polyamide 66 rods

Polyamide 66 rods The rods of Nylon 66 are made of an extruded nylon with excellent mechanical properties, stiffness, heat and wear resistance, and good resistance to creeping-but its impact strength and mechanical damping capacity are reduced. Nylon 66 rods are best suited for robotic lathes machining. We are often asked what the difference between Rod Nylon 6.6 and Rod Nylon 6 is. Engineers tell us that the rating of Nylon 6.6 is marginally tougher, should b..

Polyamide 6 rods - 30% glass filled

Polyamide 6 rods - 30% glass filled The 30% glass filled Nylon / Polyamide 6 rods are used for applications requiring higher compressive strength and rigidity than standard unfilled Nylon. The polyamide 6 is significantly strengthened by the addition of glass-fibers. The added glass to the polyamide rods gives them stability & rigidity but reduces the non-lubricated wear properties. Usually, the 30% glass-filled nylon rods have almost 200% better s..
