Phenolic paper laminate - getinax sheets - class XXX

Phenolic paper laminate - getinax sheets - class XXX are used in electrical and electronics applications. It has stable dielectric properties under conditions of high humidity and good hot punchability.  Class XXX phenolic paper laminate can be cold punched and sheared. It has high insulation resistance and low dielectric losses under severe humidity. 

Phenolic paper sheet class XXX is fabricated by applying heat and pressure to phenolic resin impregnated insulation paper. This type of industrial laminate is designed for insulating components for electric motor and electronic appliances requiring higher mechanical strength, as well as an application for insulating oil.

Grade X, XX, and XXX Phenolic paper laminates are made up of a mixture of phenolic resin and paper and are the lowest costing material in the phenolic family. The phenolic paper provides good mechanical properties, with each “X” designating different levels of dielectric strengths and mechanical properties. Grade XX is suitable for general electric insulation. Grade XXX meets MIL-I-24768/10 (PBE)

Grade XXX Paper Phenolic Laminate provides good electrical properties and is used in switchgear and transformers as switchboards, panel boards, and insulating washers and bushings.
