PHENOLIC PACKING
This our new pump packing made from Kynol® yarns, a new breed of heat resistant synthetic fibers. This fiber has the same resistance as aramid fiber but the chemical inertness and coefficient of friction of PTFE.
This Pure novoloid fibres exhibits the strength of aramid and chemical resistance of PTFE/graphite.
Advantages:
- A multipurpose plant-wide packing for the pulp and paper industry
- A thorough impregnation of PTFE provides low friction operations and a dense packing without any leak paths
- A non-staining and non-abrasive packing—can be used for high speed applications
Each strand is previously greased with PTFE and a unique lubricant break-free silicone for the greatest outcomes. This packing Kynol phenolic packing is ideal for dynamic applications involving abrasive fluids and high pH levels.
Compatible with mild acids and bases, water, steam, and solvents, and the packaging is more effective in combining service longevity and quality seal.
