Phenolic glass cloth laminated sheets
are an insulating structural material used for the production of slide bearings, gears and other components. Being a good isolator, it is also used in the production of electrical appliances and components.
The material itself is a laminated plastic produced from the fiber and a polymer adhesive substance, such as, for example, epoxy resin. Glass Textolite is produced from the glass fiber and is called also Glass fibre laminate. Glass Textolite surpasses Textolite in such properties as: heat resistance (140-180°C against 105-125°C), volume resistivity (1011 Ohm/m against 107 Ohm/m), dissipation factor (0,02 against 0,07).
Textolite or phenolic cotton cloth laminated sheets are much lighter than Phenolic glass cloth laminated sheets which have lower thermal conductivity, is easier to machine and to glue together.

Phenolic glass cloth laminated sheets is non-toxic, non-explosive, refers to combustible materials. For example, the ignition temperature of the glass-cloth epoxy laminated sheet is about 500 C, and its auto-ignition temperature of 505-600 ° C. We offer phenolic epoxy glass fiber cloth laminated sheets which are allowed to be used at a relative humidity of 93 ± 2% at 40 ± 2 ° C and a voltage over 1000V.
Application:
- in electric machines in the form of slot insulation for AC machine stator winding,
- generator rotor windings of asynchronous motors, armature coils of DC machines.
