Phenolic cotton cloth laminated rods 

are type of electrotechnical phenolic cotton cloth laminated round bars which are laminated pressed material, manufactured by winding and consisting of several layers of cotton cloth impregnated with a thermosetting binder. 

The phenolic epoxy resin cotton cloth laminated rods are used as insulation and construction material for continuous work in transformer oil and in the air at normal relative humidity and at a temperature range from -65°C to +120°C. 

The epoxy resin cotton laminated rods favorably lend themselves to machining and can be used as bushings, spacers and other friction parts. Due to the use of cotton cloths, the textolite rod has high compression strength and increased resilience, favorably lends itself to machining by drilling, cutting and forging.

That is why it is widely used to make parts loaded with reversed electrical and mechanical stresses or working under friction (bushings, cams, etc.).

The phenolic cotton cloth rods are used as insulating material for work in transformer oil and in the air at normal relative humidity of the environment and at 50 Hz of frequency.
