Neoprene Sheetings - CR - Shore 60

Neoprene rubber (chemical name polychloroprene) originates from a category of synthetic rubber types developed by polymerizing the chloroprene organic compound. Neoprene rubber is used for sealing and insulation and provides various advantages including resistance to foods, greases and oils made from petroleum.

The neoprene rubber is resistant as well to wind, atmosphere, ozone and temperature tolerance -20 ° C to + 120 ° C . It has great tolerance to twisting and flexing damage.

Neoprene Rubber Sheet is used in applications where higher level of performance and resistance is needed than your commercial grade neoprene’s. Its properties make it one of the best multi-functional rubbers. This neoprene rubber has great stretching properties while remaining strong enough to be elastic.

The Neoprene rubber sheeting is a synthetic rubber based on chloroprene, whose main characteristics:

  • Excellent resistance to hydrocarbons, oxygen and light
  • Good elasticity, resistance to crushing and cutting
  • Good resistance to weathering and heat

Characteristics:

  • Abrasion Resistance: Excellent
  • Tear Resistance: Good
  • Solvent Resistance: Fair
  • Oil Resistance: Fair
  • Aging Weather / Sunlight: Good

Neoprene sheeting can be compounded for specific properties such as low temperature and compression set resistance which makes it a great material for construction applications.

Neoprene's sheeting excellent weathering performance and ozone resistance, as well as its high tensile strength and low compression set, make it a very attractive synthetic rubber for these outdoor applications.

Applications:

  • Neoprene Hose Covers
  • Door and sensitive door seals
  • Mass Transit Industry - Neoprene meets the stringent Smoke-Flame-Toxicity requirements by the mass transit industry. Window seals with a locking strip (window and door seal extrusions)
  • Power transmission belts
  • Vibration mounts
  • Shock absorber seals
  • Breaking and steering system components
  • Conveyor belts
  • Neoprene industrial hose
  • Neoprene O rings
  • Neoprene Diaphragms
  • Grommets and vibration mounds
  • gaskets

Neoprene Sheetings - CR - Shore 50

Neoprene Sheetings - CR - Shore 50 This flexible Neoprene Rubber is with black color and the neoprene sheet has a durometer rating of 50, which is a medium grade level. This medium durometer level attributes a moderate amount of flexibility and durability to the neoprene. It is a moderately pliable and elastic rubber when compared to neoprene material of a higher durometer rating. This increased elasticity makes the solid neoprene rubber more open to physical indentation. T..
