Conical Strainers
Conical strainers are designed to provide protection for expensive pumps, valves, meters and other mechanical equipment from foreign objects. The baskets of the conical strainers are installed in a metal body, between flanges, and work as a temporary or permanent filtering device.
Normally supplied in Carbon steel, stainless steel, and other alloys and available in most sizes with perforations & mesh.
For ring type joint- specify ring number & style. When ordering, the following information should be specified: 1) Pipe size, 2) Pressure rating, 3) Perforation or mesh size, 4) Material, 5) Style.

Conical strainer
Conical strainer Conical Strainers are known as Temporary Strainers, and these Conical Filter Strainers are used for the filtration of the system. We are suppliers of Cone type temporary strainers in fully various designs. The Conical Temporary Strainers are mostly used for testing purposes by new plants. Conical Strainers are very cost-effective straining solutions in many applications. Where the amount of material to be removed from the flow is relatively small, res..

What materials are conical strainers typically made from?
Conical strainers are usually supplied in carbon steel, stainless steel, and various other alloys. These materials are chosen for their durability and resistance to corrosion, ensuring that the strainers can effectively protect pumps, valves, and other equipment from foreign objects over time.
How do conical strainers function as filtering devices?
Conical strainers operate by utilizing a basket situated within a metal body, which is installed between flanges. The design allows them to act as both temporary and permanent filtering devices, capturing debris and contaminants from the fluid flow, thus prolonging the lifespan of downstream equipment. For a detailed view, check our Conical strainer.
What sizes and perforation options are available for conical strainers?
Conical strainers are available in most sizes and come with various perforation and mesh options to suit specific application requirements. This versatility allows for tailored solutions based on the flow rates and types of materials being filtered. For specialized needs, you can explore our Conical strainer - truncated type.
