Technical gases hoses
Hoses for technical gases are a number of applications in many industries. We offer a low-pressure hoses, designed primarily for acetylene, oxygen, propane-butane, natural gas, and inert gases and high pressure hoses for gases above 140 bar, eg. Filling and emptying gas cylinders. We also offer welding hoses used to the flow of oxygen during welding and cutting metals.
Hoses for gas generally are made of black, smooth outer layer of rubber based on SBR / EPDM, textile gain and black or colored, smooth or corrugated outer layer of rubber based on SBR / EPDM, resistant to atmospheric agents. Depending on the destination, snakes differ in structure and scope of the operation parameters (operating pressure / bursting, working temperature) – details available on request.

What are the key characteristics of technical gases hoses?
Technical gases hoses are designed for various applications in industries, primarily for gases like acetylene, oxygen, propane-butane, natural gas, and inert gases. Low-pressure hoses are typically used for these gases, while high-pressure hoses are suitable for gases exceeding 140 bar, such as in the filling and emptying of gas cylinders. The hoses are constructed from rubber based on SBR/EPDM, featuring an outer layer that is resistant to atmospheric agents and can be either smooth or corrugated.
What is the difference between low-pressure and high-pressure hoses for technical gases?
Low-pressure hoses are generally utilized for applications involving gases like propane-butane and natural gas, with a pressure rating typically below 25 bar. For example, the LPG hose - L-088 AI LPG - Natural Gas 25 Bar is specifically designed for such applications. In contrast, high-pressure hoses are engineered to handle pressures above 140 bar and are essential for tasks such as filling gas cylinders. They are constructed to withstand the greater stresses associated with high-pressure applications.
Can you explain the specific applications of welding hoses?
Welding hoses, such as the Oxygen hose for welding - WELBLU 20 ISO 3821 L/L - 20bar and Acetylene hose for welding - WELRED 20 ISO 3821 L/L - 20bar, are specifically designed to transport oxygen and acetylene gas used in welding and cutting metals. These hoses are typically rated for up to 20 bar and are constructed to ensure safety and reliability during welding operations. The twin hose configuration, like the Twin hose for oxygen - acetylene welding - WELTWIN 20 ISO 3821 L/L - 20bar, allows for simultaneous delivery of both gases, enhancing efficiency and safety in welding tasks.
