Waspaloy is used for gas turbine engine components that call for considerable strength and corrosion resistance at high operating temperatures. Current and potential applications include compressor and rotor discs, shafts, spacers, seals, rings and casings, fasteners and other miscellaneous engine hardware, airframe assemblies and missile systems. The alloy’s oxidation resistance is good under conditions of frequent thermal cycling, and in continuous exposure to temperatures up to 1900°F (1038°C). It has performed well in atmospheres found in gas turbine engine service and in salt spray environments. Solution-treated material offers the best levels of corrosion resistance.

INCONEL® 600 - Wire
INCOLOY® alloy 925 (UNS N09925) is an age hardenable nickel-iron-chromium alloy with additions of molybdenum, copper, titanium and aluminum. The alloy’s chemical composition is designed to provide a combination of high strength and excellent corrosion resistance. The nickel content is sufficient for protection against chloride-ion stresscorrosion cracking. The nickel, in conjunction with the molybdenum and copper, also gives outstanding resistance to reducing chemicals. The m..
INCONEL® 601 - Wire
Alloy C 22 (UNS N06022/W.Nr. 2.4602) has, by virtue of its contents of chromium, molybdenum, tungsten and controlled iron, excellent resistance to both oxidizing and reducing acid environments as well aas those containing mixed acids. It is particularly useful for resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in acid-halide environments. Applications include the chemical processing, pollution control, flue gas desulfurization, waste incineration and pulp and paper processing in..

INCOLOY® alloy DS (W. Nr. 1.4862), first developed for woven wire furnace conveyor belts, is now widely used for a range of heat-treatment applications where its strength and corrosion resistance at high temperatures enable its use in light section. Alloys for use in high-temperature processes must be able to withstand exposure to hot combustion gases and operating atmospheres for a considerable period of time without the loss of effective section that can be caused by corros..
INCONEL® 600 - Wire
UNS N06600, W.Nr. 2.4816 INCONEL® (nickel-chromium-iron) alloy 600 is a standard engineering material for applications which require resistance to corrosion and heat. The alloy also has excellent mechanical properties and presents the desirable combination of high strength and good workability. The high nickel content gives the alloy resistance to corrosion by many organic and inorganic compounds and also makes it virtually immune to chloride-ion stress-corrosion cracking..
