High Temperature Silicone sponge is medium cellular sponge material with excellent compression set, memory and low stress relaxation properties. Due to its compression set, High Temperature silicone sponge commonly reduces the maintenance costs involved with gasket failure. This flame retardant silicone sponge sheeting has all the properties of standard silicone sponge but is flame retardant and food approved.

Due to its excellent resistance to Ultraviolet light and ozone, combined with a considerable low and high temperature range, High Temperature Silicone sponge sheeting is commonly used to reduce shock, isolate vibration and provide protection against wind driven rain and fire in various outdoor communications, electronics and lighting enclosures.

High Temperature Silicone sponge sheeting is Fire Safe – approved to BS6853 Cat 1A, EN45545, UL94 approved to V-0 and HF-1 and is approved by and commonly utilised in the London Underground.
