GLASS CLOTH WITH VERMICULITE
This glass cloth with vermiculite is an exclusive heat protective cloth formulated specifically for the welding and metal fabrication industries. It is produced using volumised glass yarns which provide it with a good specific density and a high insulating value. It withstands weld spatter, molten metal and any type of thermal shock up to a maximum of 1,000°C.
Vermiculite enhances the physical and mechanical properties and thermal insulation, as well as helping to prevent fray on cutting during the production of manufactured items, improving the ability to withstand high temperatures and the resistance to abrasion.
APPLICATIONS
Protection against splashes of molten metal in iron metallurgy industries, heat protection curtains for continuous casting, curtains for furnace doors.
