GRAFILIT® SL Gasket Sheet
This gasket sheet can handle temperatures up to +550°С and pressure up to 100-140 bar depending on the medium. GRAFILIT® SL is an expanded graphite-based material with stainless steel foil insert, thus facilitating its handling and enhances the surface load. GRAFILIT® SL is a gasket material with excellent strength and creep resistance, chemical stability, and a high tightness rate.
Because of a stainless-steel insertion, it offers easier handling and installation compared to the non-reinforced versions. GRAFILIT® SL has an excellent chemical and thermal resistance.
Its high creep resistance and high compressibility make it suitable for highly demanding conditions in the chemical and petrochemical industries. Suitable for a wide range of applications especially for higher operating pressures such as in gas supply, compressors, pumps and valves. GRAFILIT® SL is also approved by BAM for oxygen use.
COMPOSITION:
The GRAFILIT® SL gasket sheet is composed of Expanded natural graphite (>99% graphite purity), stainless steel foil insert (AISI 316; 0.05 mm).
