Clear Cast Acrylic Round PMMA Rod
Acrylic rod material retains the same specifications and is made of the same material as the acrylic sheet but in a round rod shape. There can be two distinct processing methods used for producing acrylic PMMA rods.
The first of the procssing techniques is casting the acrylic PMMA material into a rod with the required diameter - this is considered a "cast acrylic rod" and gives the best optical quality possible.
In addition, cast acrylic rod offers is offered in a big assortment of diameters - the PMMA cast rods can reach even up to 200 mm in diameter.
By extruding the acrylic material into using the second manufacturing technique we can deliver the called extruded acrylic rod which can be cheap and economical solution for casting acrylic rods where the visual quality is not so important.
