Ceramic fiber rope - twisted

Twisted ceramic fiber rope guarantees excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance and can be used for continuous temperatures of up to 650°C (glass-fibre reinforced) or up to 1050°C (Inconel-reinforced).
 
The twisted ceramic rope contains approximately 20% organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special ceramic fibres. On request, the ceramic twisted rope can be impregnated with graphite to increase lubricating power.
 
Applications
Ceramic fiber rope can be offered with wool center core or in solid sectiion. Sealing joints in boilers, industrial furnaces, oven doors, coke furnaces.

Excellent chemical stability resisting attack from most corrosive agents. Exceptions are fluorides, phosphoric acids and concentrated alkalis.

  • Iron oxide Fe203 0,7-1,2%
