Stainless Steel Camlock fitting Coupler - Type D

Stainless steel camlock coupler Type D – female coupler by female thread, can fit into any male camlock fitting of the same size including Type F, A, E & DP (Dust Plug). Quick hose camlock couplings can connect/disconnect hose to tanks, pumps or other equipment in a faster way in contrast with conventional fitting such as threads and flanges.

Owing to its excellent corrosive resistance, high temperature ability and sanitary features, stainless steel camlock fittings are often used in food processing and harsh working environments. Stainless steel couplings will not act with seawater, coolants, fuels and foods in liquid or powder status. Available in 1/2" to 4. Type D couplers are interchangeable except 1/2" which has no international specifications.

A type D stainless steel camlock coupler comes with type A adapter.

Type D Couplers are typically used with Type F Adapters but can also be used with Type A and E Adapters and DP (Dust Plug) of the same size.

Camlock Couplings are in fact, a means of quick engaging of disengaging a hose connection from a system requiring transfer of fluid or gas. The Camlock Couplings consist of a coupler with cam arms and a slip in adaptor. In order to connect the Arm of the coupler in Camlock Couplings, it need to be lifted and the adaptor slipped into the coupler. Handle are then pressed down with normal hand pressure for a leak proof connection.​
