Elastomeric rolling diaphragm

The long-stroke rubber rolling diaphragm which is everted during installation is to be considered a special case among dished diaphragms. The effective stroke is constrained by the deep drawing nature of the fabric with the style of tissue reinforcement. Rolling diaphragms allow to have pressure only on the molding side of the diaphragm.

Elastomeric rolling diaphragms are developed according to your needs in rubber coated fabric, from fabric with fabric reinforcement or only rubber.

The housing will accommodate rolling diaphragms on the outside, and the piston on the inside. This provides an efficient diameter that is virtually independent of the stroke, constant. The rolling diaphragms still need a pressure differential to the rolling convolution, much as the rolling diaphragms do, otherwise the strain would have everted them.

Some of the elastomers for the manufacturing of Elastomeric rolling diaphragms include: Nitrile, Silicone (VMQ), Chloroprene (CR), Fluorocarbon (FKM),  Monomeric Ethylene Propylene Diene (EPDM), Polyacryate (ACM), Perfluoroelastomers (FFKM), Hydrogenated nitrile (HNBR)

We can supply as well Elastomeric rolling diaphragms with 'Special' cloth reinforcement, often available from stock, having the following fabrics as reinforcement

Nylon

Polyester

Cotton

Nomex

Fibreglass

Flat Rubber Diaphragm Flat Rubber Diaphragms are pressure loadable on both sides. They have same effective area on both sides. The flat rubber diaphragms are used for pumps, regulation, control and measurement. our flat rubber diaphragms have limited stroke as defined hereunder: H max ≤ 0.06 x DG (regulatory function) H max ≤ 0.1 x DG (pump function) low hysteresis no stick-slip effect DLM = DLG + 0.02 DG We manufacture flat rubber dia..

Convoluted Rubber Diaphragm

Convoluted Rubber Diaphragm

Convoluted Rubber Diaphragm Convoluted diaphragms involve a rolling convolution with an arched cross-sectional area, even if being in an unloaded state. As long as limitations in the stroke height are taken into consideration, then an almost strokeindependent effective diameter can be attained. Convoluted Rubber diaphragms always require a differential pressure toward the rolling convolution in order to preclude a folding over of the rolling convolu..

Dish Shape Rubber Diaphragm

Dish Shape Rubber Diaphragm

Dish Shape Rubber Diaphragm This form of diaphragm, generally called dish-shaped, has a sidewall that slowly slopes from the cylinder to the piston. This diaphragm is built to stretch to its maximum height in both directions. To apply strain in all directions can be double-coated. Total travel and ability to withstand high pressures are limited because of its wide convolution and gradual sidewall slope. The successful intensity varies by the movement, too. We manufac..
