Hestra plastic tiles have several applications; they are appropriate for both residential and commercial usage, inside and outdoors. They may be used securely not only around the pool and water regions, but also in the garage, in a caravan when camping, on non-professional sports fields, and in the home workshop. The tiles have eyelets on one side and pins on the other, and they simply click into each other. It is easy to remove the tiles at any moment and replace even a single component. 

If you need to trim any parts when installing tiles, a wood or plastic saw will suffice.

Installation

1. Hard and flat subsoil (tiles, concrete, wood, etc.) is a prerequisite for ensuring a flat floor. 
2. Attention, do not place the tiles directly on the surface, which they form, for example.
3. Fatrafol, IPA, textile foil, etc.
4. The construction of the underside of the Hestra pavement is made up of protrusions that could damage these soft surfaces.
5. Remove all objects from the installation area and thoroughly clean it.
6. Start the installation in the corner and always work from left to right.
7. Lay the floor tiles obliquely against the wall and lay them so that the eyelets are visible on the right side.
8. Leave a gap of 10 mm between the floor tiles and the wall and/or other objects.
9. This gap is absolutely necessary and allows thermal expansion, especially when the floor is exposed to different temperatures, e.g. for outdoor use.
10. Then push the pins into the eyelets to connect the tiles.
11. Adjust the Hestra tiles with a fine tooth saw, e.g. a jigsaw.
12. During cutting, it is recommended to invert the floor tiles (bottom side up) so that they are cut in a straight line.
13. Finish the floor with edges and corner skirting boards as needed.
