Outdoor tiles Hestra type Woodlook Mahogany

Which flooring should I choose for my balcony, pergola, veranda, or home spa? Try Swedish plastic tiles from the Woodlook collection. It is not intended to replace the beauty and charm of genuine wood, but rather to provide an alternate answer.
Terraces and balconies are areas where you may unwind or gather with friends. If you want to enjoy your time on the balcony, you'll need a decent floor and comfy chairs.

  • The flooring influences not only the appearance of the balcony, but also its comfort and longevity.
  • That's why Woodlook flooring is long-lasting, easy to maintain, and comfortable to walk on.
  • At the same time, you should not expect the wood to have any negative features; there is no chance of mould degeneration, drying, or warping.
  • The unique polish also hides noticeable scratches.
  • If you're curious in how Woodlook tiles in mahogany look in person, check out the photo gallery or this comparison. The tile was taken in daylight, so you can see the embossed surface and shade.

You can also compare it with the DECK 45 patio tile, which is also in mahogany, but in a different finish.

Advantages of the tiles

  • Quick and easy installation (lay it yourself)
  • Natural look imitating wooden floors
  • Waterproof, non-scratch and non-slip surface
  • Smooth, chip-free outdoor patio floor surface
  • Comfortable surface for barefoot walking

Installation

  1. A hard and level subfloor (paving, concrete, wood, etc.) is a prerequisite for ensuring a level floor.
  2. Caution, do not lay the tiles flat on a surface consisting of e.g. Fatrafol, IPA, textile foils, etc.
  3. The construction of the underside of Hestra tiles consists of protrusions that could damage these soft surfaces.
  4. Remove all objects from the installation area and clean it thoroughly.
  5. Start the installation in a corner and always work from left to right.
  6. Place the floor tiles diagonally against the wall and lay them so that the eyelets are visible on the right side.
  7. Leave a 10 mm gap between the floor tiles and the wall and/or other objects. This gap is absolutely necessary and allows for thermal expansion, especially when the floor is exposed to different temperatures, e.g. in outdoor use.
  8. Then push the pins into the eyelets to connect the tiles.
  9. Adjust the Hestra tiles using a fine-toothed saw, e. g. a jig saw.
  10. During cutting, we recommend turning the floor tiles over (bottom side up) so that they are cut in a straight line.
  11. Finish the floor with edges and corner strips as required. This range is offered as part of the accessories.

Could you use some help with installation? Or are you pressed for time? We will be happy to lay the floor on your balcony, terrace or pergola..
