Outdoor Tile Hestra Type Stone - Black

Which floor to choose for the balcony, pergola, porch or home wellness? Try the Swedish tiles from the Stone series. It does not aim to replace the beauty and charm of natural stone, but to offer you an alternative solution.
The terrace and balcony are a place where you can relax or sit with friends.  
If you want to enjoy your stay on the balcony, next to a comfortable seating area, you need to have a proper floor on the balcony.

Installation

1. Hard and flat subsoil (tiles, concrete, wood, etc.) is a prerequisite for ensuring a flat floor.  
2. Attention, do not place the tiles directly on the surface that forms Fatrafol, IPA, textile foil, etc.
3. The construction of the underside of the Hestra tile is formed by protrusions that could damage these soft surfaces.
4. Remove all objects from the installation area and thoroughly clean it.
5. Start the installation in the corner and always work from left to right.
6. Lay the floor tiles obliquely against the wall and lay them so that the eyelets are visible on the right side.
7. Leave a gap of 10 mm between the floor tiles and the wall and/or other objects.

9. This gap is absolutely necessary and allows thermal expansion, especially when the floor is exposed to different temperatures, e.g.for outdoor use.
10. Then push the pins into the eyelets to connect the tiles.
11. Adjust the Hestra tiles with a fine tooth saw, e.g. a jigsaw.
12. During cutting, it is recommended to invert the floor tiles (bottom side up) so that they are cut in a straight line.
13. Finish the floor with edges and corner skirting boards as needed.
