Ceramic fiber tape - up to 1000°C
Ceramic tapes are a flat-woven gasket that guarantees excellent flexibility and mechanical resistance. It can be used for continuous temperatures of up to 650°C (glass-fibre reinforced) or up to 1050°C (Inconel reinforced).
The ceramic fiber tape contains approximately 20% organic binders to facilitate the carding process. The binders burn at low temperatures, but without any effect on the special glass fibres. On request the ceramic it can be impregnated with graphite to increase lubricating power.
The ceramic woven tape is made of our high quality yarn woven in ceramic fibre. The ceramic tape of this type is lined with fiberglass thread, or optional reinforcement with Inconel / alloy steel tube.
Ceramic fiber tapes contain a small amount of binder material that is usually burnt at lower temperatures and has little effect on the insulatio properties.
It features heat insulation and high temperature protective materials in all types of thermal installations and heat conductive systems, widely used in welding, foundry works, aluminum and steel mills, boiler insulation and sealing, shipyards, refineries, power plants and chemical plants

Insulation of tubes and exhaust pipes, electric insulation.
