Gasket Sheet Victor Reinz - AFM 34

Victor Reinz®'s most effective gasket material of all time is AFM 34. This aramid fiber-based classic gasket sheet is absolutely safe from a physiological standpoint and has all of the required approvals (TA-Luft and FDA-compliant, to name a few).

AFM 34 gasket sheet material, which is universally applicable, is the ideal sealing solution for a wide variety of media as well as temperatures and operating pressures.

Highlight: AFM 34 gasket sheets are 1,000 times more leakproof than the specifications of TA-Luft and VDI Guideline 2440 – even after 48 hours of exposure to air at 200 °C (392 °F) as a gasket mounted in a DN 40/PN 40 flanged connection!

Gasket Sheet Victor Reinz - AFM 30 doesn't have an inlay and is made of Elastomer bonded fiber material. This gasket sheet can handle up to 0 - 250 ℃; and pressure up to 150 bar.

Application:

• the AFM 34 gasket sheets can be used for DIN and ANSI flanged joints, apparatus, pumps, fittings, and pipelines in industrial plants for fittings with very narrow sealing surfaces, such as in gas and hot water units,
• AFM34 gasket sheets are used for solar panels, convection radiators, and couplings, etc. for sealed joints in IC engines subject to high mechanical and thermal stress (oil filters, intake manifolds, water, fuel, and vacuum pumps, etc.)
• for transmissions, all kinds of gearboxes, refrigerating & air compressors, etc.
• since AFM 34 gasket sheet is physiologically stable, it can be used in contact with drinking water and foodstuffs, as well as for sealing highly pure, pollutant-sensitive materials such as paint bases, vitamins, and so on.
