Basket T-Strainer - Stainless Steel - PN16 Flanged

Stainless Steel T-Strainers are devices for mechanically removing unwanted solids from liquid, gas, or steam lines by means of a perforated or wire mesh straining element. The T-strainers are used in pipelines to protect pumps, meters, control valves, steam traps, regulators, and other process equipment.

Basket T-Strainer - Stainless Steel - PN16 Flanged has a task to protect the following parts of the pipeline in case of possible impurities in the medium leading metal chips, welding globules or similar.

Basket T-Strainers made of Stainless Steel are PN16 Flanged and come with 304 Stainless Steel Mesh (mesh scale is 40 mesh or 400 microns).

These Stainless Steel T-strainers allow limited pressure drop and an intense low rate. This Stainless Steel T-basket strainer is suitable where straining needs to occur - for petrochemical or other applications with as little pressure drop as possible.

Stainless Steel basket strainers are sandblasted and then covered with a primer that is heat resistant. Like several other basket strainers, this unit is cast as one part. This is more expensive in manufacturing but gives the strainer a much longer life and makes it stronger.
