Resilient seat gate valves are type of gate valves with an elastomer lined wedge. They are especially used for waste water, drinking water supply fire protection and irrigation, pumping systems, industrial water systems, cooling water systems,air conditioning systems.

A robust seated gate valve features a simple valve bottom that allows sand and stones to freely travel through the valve. If contaminants travel through the valve when it shuts, the rubber surface will form a seal around them.
