Sound absorbers made of polyethylene / PE acoustic foam
Polyethylene Acoustic Foam (PE) is both sound-absorbing and sound-absorbing. A big advantage is u.a. the extremely low water absorption. Furthermore convince its high stability and strength as well as the high weathering and aging resistance.
The good resistance to moisture, frost and dirt make polyethylene foam a universally applicable sound insulation product.
Sound absorbers of this type are made of a closed-cell polyethylene foam and are particularly suitable for applications where contact with moisture may occur. Sound absorbers made of polyethylene are flame-retardant according to DIN 4102, tested to B1.
PE acoustic foam UV has been developed for use outdoors thanks to a special UV stabilization and has excellent weathering resistance. PE acoustic foam UV is tested in accordance with B2, in accordance with DIN 4102.
These polyethylene sheets are excellently suitable for example for sound insulation of a heat pump or a soundproof wall in the outdoor area.
