High temperature wools
High temperature insulating wools and needlemats are ultra-light insulating materials whose properties provide the most effective form of heat insulation in the furnace construction industry. We offer high temperature insulation wool that can be used to insulate against temperatures of up to 1650°C.
Included under the term high temperature insulating wool (HTIW) are products made out of synthetic mineral wools suitable for use as heat insulating materials at temperatures in excess of 600°C.
High temperature insulating wool (HTIW) and needlemats are synthetically produced aggregate of fibres of different lengths and diameters made out of mineral-based raw materials.
High-temperature insulating wools and needlemats offer exceptional thermal resistance for industrial applications. Composed of advanced, heat-resistant fibers such as ceramic or mineral wool, these materials provide insulation in extreme temperatures, making them ideal for furnaces, kilns, and aerospace components.
Their fibrous structure and needled construction enhance durability and flexibility, ensuring effective heat containment. With low thermal conductivity and superb resilience, these ceramic and glass wools and needlemats contribute to energy efficiency and safety in high-temperature environments, making them indispensable in diverse sectors requiring reliable insulation solutions.
