The glass packings are made from high quality silicic yarn capable of withstanding extremely high temperatures. The glass fibers of the glass packing are diagonally braided and impregnated.
This is augmented by a special impregnation - silicone, rubber or other special dispersion which gives optimal density resulting in excellent sealing characteristics.
The glass packings we offer are excellent for static applications and for thermal insulation in boilers, furnaces or heat exchangers. They can stand up to 550 °C depending on the application.
