Expanded PTFE Gaskets
This type of gaskets are made of expanded PTFE gasket material, designed for use in process piping and equipment in chemical, pulp and paper, food and beverage, and other general industrial applications where resistance to highly aggressive chemicals is required. The EPTFE gasket can handle temperature of about 240°C.
Expanded PTFE gaskets are ideal for use in steel flanges and flanges with irregular surfaces. The expanded PTFE gaskets conform to the FDA requirements.

Expanded PTFE gaskets Expanded PTFE, Unfilled Teflon® Gaskets (Virgin Teflon® Gaskets) Expanded PTFE (Teflon®) gasket material is produced by expanding Virgin PTFE using a process that creates a uniform and highly fibrillated microstructure with equal tensile strength in all directions. This means that expanded Teflon® possesses no structural weakness or a "grain". Since no additives are required, expanded Teflon® also possesses the unique chemical resistance of Virg..
