The rubber expansion joints of this type are suitable for petroleum based products, fuel ethanol blend e.g. E 85 and DIN EN fuels up to 50% aromatic content, also town gas and natural gas.
For grease the ERV-CR is a good selection. The VITEX Viton bellows should be selected for hot aggressive oils. For other fuels there are four alternative Nitrile based products, the ERV-G is suited to most applications, the ERV-GLT is designed specifically for low ambient temperatures, the ERV-GS offers 30 minute fire resistance and the ERV-GSHNBR offers fire resistance plus abrasive media compatibility.
